As part of the convening of the Pan African Archaeological Association Conference (PANAF) in Maputo, Mozambique, members of the Slave Wrecks Project network organized and participated in a session entitled “ Maritime Archaeology of the Slave Trade: Past, Present and Future Perspectives”
